My pet Ollie came to my home February 2020 as a 10 week old puppy. He was full of energy and cute as could be. My grandchildren were living with me at the time and he got loads of attention. He loves being outside but prefers someone to be with him. He loves playing with balls and tug of war. He enjoys playing in water and going for long walks.
Ollie was not consistently socialized so he is more of a "people" dog, meaning he enjoys the company of humans over dogs. He is crate trained, but is only in the crate if I am going to be gone for more than 2 hours. He likes apples and carrots. I try not to give him processed snacks.
He follows verbal commands, such as: sit, place, come. He walks on leash mostly. I do let him walk off leash in the early morning before people are out or traffic gets too busy.
In the home he likes being close by. He enjoys having his ears and belly rubbed. He does have separation anxiety but he is a sweet boy! My 66 year old self cannot care for him any more.
