What we know: Local owner surrender from Colorado. Litter of 5, 2 females 3 males. Mom was no longer taking care of puppies so they surrendered them to us at 4 weeks old. Reported parents are beagle mom and toy poodle dad.

From the foster: Minnie is a gentle little princess. She loves playing with her little brother but is also fairly independent. She would do well with another playmate or in a home by herself. She has loved meeting new people when going on walks and has been very friendly. A little social butterfly when she wants to be but also likes spending time alone in the evenings.
She is not yet leash trained but loves going potty outside. She’s not really into puppy pads so if you’re an outside person, she would be a great pup for you! She loves being outside, it’s her favorite place. She’s got a great head start towards being potty trained outside and would love a little fenced in yard to play in.
She’s an adventurous little lady and will benefit from a safe place in the home to explore. At 7 weeks she already is climbing two flights of stairs if you turn your back!
She loves belly rubs and is a beautiful combination of playful and relaxed. Truly an incredible companion! Take Minnie (46) home today!

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
