If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I adopted Gidget from a high kill shelter about 3 months ago. She is about 2 years old, 12 lbs, very sweet and loves giving kisses and snuggling. She will follow you everywhere and you will be her favorite thing. She very intelligent, loves to run and play, and can spend hours fetching tossed toys and is completely housebroken. My problem is my other pup is super possessive of me and refuses to share me and I have to break up fights for my attention. I've tried for months and it's just not working out. Gidget has to sleep in a crate at night here and while she has obviously been crate trained and not a peep out of her all night long I feel she needs her own special person. My 8 and 11 year old grandchildren live with me and she loves playing with them, but can sometimes get a little too enthusiastic play biting, but has never broken skin. I would not recommend taking her if you have very young children. I have 4 cats, and she pretty much doesn't bother them.
