My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Fee: $475

When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!

What we know: Local owner surrender. Her owners were moving and were unable to take her with them. She is approximately 1 year old. Grooming appointment Feb. 2nd.

*Please note that, despite being a year old, Gypsy is still working on potty-training. She did not appear to have any amount of training when she was surrendered.*

From the foster: Shy and hesitant of new people, Gypsy warms up quickly and bonds hard to her person. Gypsy would do best in a home that is prepared to provide proper monthly grooming (this can cost $100 or more per month but is NOT optional, required for her breed), can work on providing consistency and training, and is able to be with Gypsy more than she would be alone.

More about this rescue

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
