When he first arrived, the world felt like a very overwhelming place for him — new sights, new sounds, new people… everything made him nervous and unsure. But with patience, kindness, and the steady presence of his doggie brothers and the support of his wonderful fosters, Denali has slowly begun to bloom.
Today, you’ll see him light up in the yard, running and exploring with a spark of confidence that grows a little brighter every day. Having another friendly, confident dog by his side has made all the difference, and he’ll absolutely thrive in a home with a canine companion who can continue showing him that life isn’t so scary.
Once Denali trusts you, he becomes a total cuddle bug — the kind who will try to climb right into your lap, all 110 pounds of him, just to be close. His love is tender, loyal, and deeply rewarding. Watching him open up is the kind of transformation that stays with you.
Denali is searching for a patient, loving home that understands his journey and is ready to help him continue growing into the confident, happy dog he’s meant to be. Because of his size and sensitivity and history he’s looking for an adult-only home (no little kids).

Happy Go Lucky Mastiff Rescue is a family based rescue. Our Rescued Dogs stay in our personal care from time of surrender to time of adoption and are an immediate part of our Families Rescue Rehabilitation Program. Our Family is Dedicated to Helping Out The Mastiff Breed Whenever We can. We Help Mastiffs that have been abandoned, abused, neglected , or Surrendered due to lack of time/finances. We get them the care they need and then place them in wonderful, loving and forever approved Homes.Before a dog can be adopted they are Neutered/Spayed, Up To Date on all shots , Heartwormed and Lyme Tested And Giving A Flea And Tick Preventative and a heartworm Preventative Before they go to their new Home.
We adopt Out Mastiff And Large Breed Dogs In Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware.
