William was found as a severely matted and terrified stray dog. He had to be completely shaved down to remove all of the filthy matted fur. Underneath was a teeny tiny 8 pound poodle mix with an absolute obsession for playing ball. Because William was so scared in the shelter he was marked as rescue only. That's where we came in.
Since arriving, William has been nothing but an absolute pleasure to be around. He loves all squeaky toys and all balls and as often seen trying to fit two or three in his mouth at the same time. He absolutely adores children and can be wary of men at first but warms up quickly. This boy deserves the best forever home and we intend to find it for him!
***If you choose to adopt (before all vetting is complete) and use your own vet rather than our local Snip Clinic for these services, you do so at your own expense and it will not reduce the adoption fee. Adoption fees are NON NEGOTIABLE.
1.) All dogs are adopted to the best possible match and calling or emailing the rescue will not speed up the process or liken your chances of being chosen.
2.) You will be notified by adoption coordinator if your application is approved. Adoptions are set up by appointment only. We do not have “hours” of operation.
3.) If the dog is posted as Available on Petfinder, it is available but may have pending applications and meet and greets set up.
4.) If you are not ready to immediately meet the dog you are applying for, please do not apply- we are too busy for window shoppers! Every dog is available to be taken home with you at the time of the meet and greet.
5.) We recommend you bring a carrier with you to transport the dog home as some can get carsick. Adult dogs and most puppies over 6 months of age will require a slip lead.
6.) Adoption fees can be paid with Cash, Check, Venmo, PayPal and credit Card.
