Take the Pet Home
This helps St. Sophia's Forgotten Felines with pet care costs.
Meet Saya — a beautiful orange and white girl with the sweetest, most loving soul. From the moment you sit near her, she’s ready to lean in, soak up affection, and remind you how special the human–cat bond can be. Saya is gentle, calm, and deeply people-oriented, and she truly thrives on companionship. Whether she’s curled beside you, stretched out in a sunny window, or quietly following you from room to room, she just wants to be part of your day.
Saya was surrendered by her original family, who had her since she was a kitten but were no longer able to care for her. While that change was difficult, Saya has handled it with incredible grace. She has settled beautifully into shelter life and currently enjoys spending time in our free-roam cat room, where she gets along wonderfully with other cats and shows just how easygoing and kind she is.
Because Saya is front paw declawed, she is looking for a safe, indoor-only home where she can feel secure and protected. She isn’t a big fan of rough play or wild antics, but she loves to lounge, watch the world go by from the window, and curl up on a cozy lap for long cuddle sessions. She’s not very playful (and may be a little on the plump side), but her calm, relaxed nature makes her a perfect companion for someone who wants a laid-back, affectionate cat.
In return for a loving home, Saya will give you soft purrs, gentle head bumps, and a loyal presence by your side. If you’re searching for a sweet, mellow, people-loving kitty to keep you company and fill your home with warmth, Saya is ready to steal your heart.
Adoption Information
Prior to adoption, every cat in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and combo-tested for FIV/FeLV. We make sure each cat is healthy, safe, and ready to thrive in their forever home.
Adoption Fees
Kittens (under 6 months): $150
Adults (over 6 months): $125
Seniors / Special Needs: $75
Please Note:
We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please only apply if you’re ready to meet and welcome your new companion within 3 days of applying.
Kittens under 4 months must go to a home with another friendly feline, or be adopted with a buddy. (If a kitten is excluded from this rule, it will be noted in their profile.)
