My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Very gentle, calm, and easygoing older dog. He gets along well with cats (currently lives with five) and with other dogs (currently lives with two). No signs of behavioral issues. He is affectionate, loyal, and a bit “dopey” in a sweet way due to his age. Unknown around young children due to limited exposure, but he has never shown aggressive behavior.
Medical Conditions:
Likely mild arthritis related to age. Otherwise healthy.
Living Preferences:
He has spent most of his life outdoors as a watchdog and strongly prefers being outside. I have only brought him indoors recently due to severe storms and cold weather. He will sometimes sleep inside at night, but he does not enjoy being indoors long-term and becomes restless. He is happiest when he has space, fresh air, and a yard to monitor.
Because of this, he would do best in a rural ranch-style environment with a fenced yard or acreage rather than an indoor-only home. He likes it best outside protecting the home. He means a lot to us.
