He is a solid 61 pounds. With that impressive large-frame presence he has proudly carries around. His rich brown-and-black coloring gives him a classic, handsome look
that turns heads wherever he goes.
Onyx is love wrapped in four paws. This sweet, affectionate pup has the gentlest personality around with a soft, loving, and sweet personality. He can be a little shy at first, sometimes letting out a soft whine as he adjusts to new places
and faces, but his warm heart wins over everyone in no time. Onyx and his mother Lilly (also with Dog Star rescue) share a bond since they have never been apart. For Onyx that will be a bridge for him to cross since he is a sensitive boy who thrives on closeness and security. He will need a family to provide support love and dedication during his time of transition. Onyx has completely stolen the hearts of every caregiver lucky enough to know him.
He is gentle, polite, and endlessly appreciative of every scratch and kind word. This good boy is great with other dogs and children and would love the chance to have furry as well as human siblings in his new life. His experience with cats and young children is unknown.
Onyx is fully housetrained and a dream to have around the house. Crate training and leash skills are still a bit of a mystery, but with his sweet, eager-to-please nature, he is sure to catch on fast with patient guidance and lots of praise.
