My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Marshmallow!

Marshmallow is still very new to us and we're still very new to Marshmallow. She's a young girl, around two years old, 45lbs, and she's been done the tragic disservice of just...not being allowed to experience the world.

That means that everything is absolutely TERRIFYING for Marshmallow right now.

Your first instinct is going to be to coddle her. You absolutely CANNOT coddle her because she will fully take advantage of it and then she'll never get over her fears of...everything.

We don't know much about her yet. We do know she's had at least one litter. We know that she lived with other dogs. We know that there's an absolute sweetheart underneath all of that fear and marshmallow fluff. Despite how genuinely terrified of everything she is (the wind, a single glove, etc), she hasn't shown any aggression or reactivity. She absolutely thrives outside, loves the snow, and loves big open spaces like our agility course.

We're hoping that she'll come out of her shell as we work more with her and she gets comfortable with us so our requirements for her may change but right now we're looking for an adult only home with breed experience.
