My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi 👋🏻 I’m Katie!
If you’re looking for a lap cat, look no further… I’ll sit with you for hours 🥰
Every once in a while, I get the urge to play, but for the most part, I’m pretty chill and content with hanging out. Taking naps in my cat bed 🛏️ is one of my passions.
I found out other cats can be pretty cool - the other kitty🐈‍⬛ in my foster home is showing me tunnels and cat trees can be fun. I asked OFR if I can please have a kitty pal in my furever home, and they said yes!
I do also need lots of human attention (head pats and scritches please!) ❤️ OFR feels I will bond strongly with my family.

If I sound like a match for you, apply today!

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Visit https://operationfreedomride.com/ and click "available pets" to see who is available for adoption.

Periodically we have adoption events around the greater Rochester, NY area; however, we largely rely on the application process to best match people/families with available pets and then set-up a meet and greet to make sure it's a great match before finalizing the adoption.
