Meet Yeonhwa💛

💙 Yeonhwa's News Account: @heo.yu98

1.) Health Condition
* Spayed.
* Microchipped, Heartworm Negative.

2.) Rescue Story
* Yeonhwa was born on May 5, 2024, at the "White Pigeon" Shelter in Busan. At the time, the shelter's conditions were dire, with rumors that nearly 80% of the animals were starving to death. To save her from this tragic environment, an Adogs volunteer urgently rescued her.

3.) Basic Information
* With People: Is a bit shy and timid around strangers. May bark cautiously when someone new visits the house or growl slightly when approached by strangers outdoors. However, she has zero aggression. If you play with her and offer treats, she remembers you and opens up quickly! Once she feels comfortable, she becomes a total sweetheart who loves cuddles and gives kisses.
* With Dogs: Approaches new dogs politely. Prefers one-on-one interactions over large groups and can feel overwhelmed by dogs that are too pushy. Once she sniffs and gets to know a visiting dog, she plays well. Also gets along fine with younger puppies.
* With Cats: Tends to chase cats when she encounters them during walks or in the yard.
* Separation Anxiety: None. Stays calm and behaves well when left alone.
* Potty Training: Is comfortable with both indoor and outdoor pottying (pads, yard, and during walks).
* Hygiene: Isn’t a huge fan of baths, drying, or brushing, but she tolerates them well. Might try to wiggle away during nail trims, but if you soothe her, she stays patient.
* Walks: Used to pull on the leash or try to chase cats, but her behavior is improving significantly with consistent training.
* Car Sickness: Tends to get motion sickness and may vomit on car rides longer than 10 minutes.
* Has never shown any signs of biting.
* Barks or growls when a stranger passes by the house or enters. Occasionally, she whines at the door when she wants to go out and play in the yard.
* Loves all kinds of meat!
* Tries to avoid nail trims and feels uncomfortable when strangers approach her too aggressively.
* Knows "Sit," "Paw," and "Kiss."

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
