Hounds. It seems like there are so many of them, everywhere. It seems like they all do the same thing - just eager to find things, smell things, bury things and run around with each other.
But, every once in awhile, one hound stands apart from the others. He is different, he is soulful, he is quietly loving and it feels like he can look right through you.
That's Creedence (aka CCR). He will look at you and watch you as if he knows you have something so important to tell him. He even leans in and just waits. What he is actually doing at that moment is stealing your heart.
Creedence has won our shelter lottery in that he now has our most favorite British lady coming weekly to read Peter Rabbit to him. And what was once so foreign to Creedence - a soft bed inside a warm room with someone to love him - is now a part of his life.
Creedence is five-years-old and comes to us from Isle of Wight. He is loving and playful as much as he is cuddly and sweet. He is a fast learner and realizes people love him and only want the best for him.
He is a joy to have at our shelter and we cannot wait to find him his perfect family. Creedence deserves to live the rest of his life knowing he is loved and adored and safe. If you want to meet the most perfect, soulful hound - his name is Creedence and he is at Animal Aid. Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon!
PLEASE NOTE: Animal Aid Society observes a 40 mile adoption radius to facilitate post adoption support and follow ups.
