Meet Jack, a one-year-old pirate prince with a heart full of whispers, chirps, and quiet bravery. 🏴☠️🐾
Jack recently had his left eye removed after trauma, and now that he’s healed, he’s feeling lighter, happier, and more himself every day. The cone you may see in his photos was just part of his recovery journey—he won’t need it when he goes home and will be fully healed and ready for his next chapter.
Jack is a very chatty boy, though his voice is more secret than shout. His meow is often a soft little whisper, sometimes a birdlike chirp, as if he’s sharing confidences just with you. He loves to chatter at squirrels and birds through the window and is becoming more playful by the day, especially when wand toys are involved.
Affection is his love language. Jack adores chin and head scratches and will lean in, melt, and dramatically flop over to help you find the perfect spot. He’s also extremely food motivated—Churu treats are basically magic—and while wet food is his true passion, he won’t turn down kibble either.
Jack can be shy with new people and nervous in new situations, so he’s looking for a cat-experienced, quiet, calm home with a patient family willing to give him the time and space he needs to settle in. Once he does, he transforms into an incredibly sweet, loyal little companion.
No dogs or kids, please—but given his young age, he could likely adjust to a cat-friendly feline friend with a proper introduction.
Jack’s adoption fee includes:
• Neuter
• Dewormer
• FeLV testing
• Microchip
• Core vaccines
• A free 30-day subscription to Petcademy (24/7 cat behavior support!)
• A free exam at a ChewyVet clinic + a $50 Chewy gift card
• A “go home” bag of goodies
If you’re looking for a gentle, quirky soul with soft chirps, big feelings, and endless love once he trusts you, Jack may just be your perfect match. 💛🐱

Denver Kittens is focused on reducing animal suffering by pulling animals from high-euthanasia shelters, particularly harder-to-adopt animals, such as those with FIV or bonded pairs, and finding them loving homes in the Denver Metro Area. We also aim to reduce over-population, and therefore reduce animal suffering and euthanasia, by supporting trap, neuter, return efforts in our community and increasing access to spay and neuter.
