What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This purebred German Shepherd needs a new home due to unexpected health challenges of her owner. This is a very difficult and sad decision, made only because we want what’s best for her.
She is approximately 6 months old, untrained, energetic, and full of potential. Her dad was 105 lbs and mom was 95 lbs, so she is expected to be a large adult dog. She is kennel trained, current on all vaccinations, and we have complete veterinary paperwork.
She is smart, curious, and strong, with working-breed instincts. She needs daily exercise, consistent attention, and committed training. She does enjoy digging and will need guidance to redirect that behavior.
Requirements for adoption:
Large, securely fenced area
Active home (GSD experience or farm/ranch preferred)
Adopter must have a veterinarian and establish care immediately
Willingness to meet in person and allow us to see the home
If she cannot be kept, she must be returned to us
