Amiga is a delightful, friendly little gal who thrives on affection. Her happy place is being as close as possible to her humans for pets and scratches. She wakes up happy in the morning and loves to run some zoomies to get the day going. Once she's kicked off the day, she's just as content to settle into a cozy dog bed for naps for the rest of the day.
Amiga is a pretty easy, very lovable dog who would be a great addition to most homes. She would be a good choice for a first time dog owner or someone living in a dog-friendly apartment building.
Don't let the white on her face fool you! She’s around 4–5 years old, adores people, and gets along great with other dogs. While she hasn’t officially tested her cat-roommate skills yet, we think she’d do just fine with slow, respectful introductions. She might be a little energetic for very small children, but would depend on the home.
Potty training? She’s on it! 🚽👏 Amiga does her business quickly outside and stays accident-free as long as you keep her on a regular schedule and watch for her polite indoor cues. She has mastered the doggy door in her foster home and now takes herself out whenever she needs to go.
She’s also perfect in her kennel, is quiet in the home, and—bonus points—doesn’t shed much. She walks nicely on a leash and likes to go for walks. She doesn't have any separation anxiety and doesn't chew or destroy things in the home. Low drama, high love.
If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who’s ready to be your loyal sidekick, Amiga might just be your perfect match.
Adoption fee is $350+tax, please apply at www.campcompanion.org

More about this rescue
Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.
Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
