This very special little boy truly lives up to his lucky start in life. Murdoch was an owner surrender at our local shelter, and one of our team members simply couldn’t walk away without helping him. Thanks to that quick, compassionate decision, Murdoch is now safe, loved, and ready to find his forever home!
Murdoch is about 7 weeks old and already around 10 pounds. We think he may be a Lab mix—possibly with some terrier, but whatever his mix is, one thing’s for sure: he’s absolutely beautiful. With his sweet face and soulful eyes, he has a way of stealing hearts instantly.
This little guy is everything you’d hope for in a puppy—friendly, affectionate, curious, and full of happy puppy energy. He loves people, enjoys cuddles, and is eager to explore the world around him. Murdoch will thrive in a home that’s ready for all the fun, training, and love that come with raising a young puppy.
Because he’s still just a baby, his adopter should be prepared for puppy training, socialization, and plenty of patience. In return, Murdoch promises endless kisses, tail wags, and a lifetime of love.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.
The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.
NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.
If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
