I’m Claude Blue. I’m named for the older gentleman who ran the local dime store in Bolivar in the 1960’s. He was so iconic, that his name lives on and I’ll be that way, too. I’m gorgeous and look like I’m a Russian Blue. I’m ready to make you a great deal on your school supplies and chin scratches!

Our Shelter is open every day from 10am-4pm, except Sundays. On Sundays, we are open from noon-4pm.

We are open for walk-ins, but we recommend appointments because some of our pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment with another potential adopter. We just don't want you to come to our location and be disappointed if you can't meet a pet you are interested in.
