Mika is the polite older gentleman you have always wanted in your life.
Mika is a 7-yo sweetie pie who will quickly become your new best friend. Mika was rescued as a stray but has adjusted farily quickly to home life. He must have had a loving home before he ended up on the street. Mika is an incredibly friendly boy who loves pets, being picked up for hugs, and being next to you whenever there's a chance. He isn't a big treat guy but does like his food. He doesn't have many teeth left due to an extraction he had to have due to dental disease but eats well and sometimes his little tongue sticks out as a result!
Mika likes to play but so far he has shown to prefer pets and cuddling to wild play time. If you’re looking for a gentle, well-mannered, chill lap cat, Mika is your guy. He is your Netflix and chill buddy and is happy to get cozy and watch movies with you on the couch with a soft blanket. However, it is important that you like biscuits though because Mika will make you a dozen at a time. Please also be open to lots of purring and happy kitty sounds. Mika is a fabulous conversationalist and loves to ask for affection.
Mika is the perfect cat for an adult household looking for a calm and loving companion. If you’re looking for a devoted friend, Mika will surely bring warmth and love to your home.
We aren't sure how Mika would be with cats or dogs, but if adopted to a home with other animals, he must have a very slow introduction.
Vaccinated for FVRCP and Rabies. Neutered and microchipped and FeLV / FIV negative.
To apply for Mika, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the animal is on our website, they are still available.
Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable cat, or final size of any of our adoptable kittens. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the cat into our rescue.
