If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Jonesy (Jo) is a fun loving cat that was originally a stray that was abandoned by his mother, he’s been indoors since he opened his eyes, but he enjoys his time indoors as well as supervised outdoor time. He isn’t overtly aggressive but he does have some neurological issues where he will have ghost sensations in his tail, he has never damaged his own tail but he occasionally has “fits”. 10mg of gabapentin managed this well, especially at night. We moved in November and he’s seemingly had a hard time adjusting. During the day he’s a very well behaved cat but for the last 5 months he has decided that he will cause trouble at all times of the night by knocking things off of the night stand, pulling at blinds, etc. he has a lot of energy and needs ALOT of play time. He’s very comfortable with handling / being held like a baby and generally acts like a dog during the day, and wants to be near people no matter what you’re doing. He requires a lot of attention.
