If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Hero from the Georgetown Animal Shelter a little over a year ago. He is a young, loving dog who is fully house trained, great with other dogs, and knows basic commands. He is very smart and eager to continue learning with someone who has the time to work with him.
Because he is still young, he has a good amount of energy and would thrive in a home that can provide regular exercise and attention, more than my current schedule allows. That said, he also has a very sweet, cuddly side and loves to snuggle and be close to his people.
We want to find him a safe, loving home where he can get the time, activity, and affection he deserves.
