"Jasper is a total lovebug who absolutely adores people — grownups and kiddos alike. He’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest soaking up human attention. He’s typically a quiet little guy who enjoys lounging nearby and popping in for snuggles.
He appears potty trained and is a big fan of the dog door (privacy is important to him — he prefers not to potty with an audience 😉). Jasper does fine in a crate but is also trustworthy free-roaming the house. He’s a food grazer rather than a gobbler, and squirrels are his sworn enemies, so a cat-free home would be best.
Jasper does have a sensitive side. He can be unsure around large dogs and may vocalize when he feels overwhelmed, and he’s also sensitive to unexpected human noises like sneezes or throat-clearing. The good news? He’s already making great progress — what used to be hours of hiding has turned into quick regrouping and rejoining the fun. Funny enough, big noises like vacuums and booms don’t bother him at all.
Jasper would thrive in a calm, patient home that appreciates a sweet, people-loving dog with a tender heart. With a little reassurance, he’s going to be an incredibly loyal and loving companion. 💛🐾. He is 1.5 years old and approx 12-13 lbs."
