My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A snuggle bug first and foremost, this boy loves to be with his people, preferably in a lap. He will likely be a medium sized dog when grown.

He likes to play with squeaky toys and crinkle toys.

He sleeps through the night with his sister and does not care to be alone. Would do well in the bedroom on a dog bed with a stuffed animal to snuggle, or in a separate room with another dog to be near. They currently have a giant caterpillar they like to cuddle up on.

Would need someone to continue working on potty training and basic manners.

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?
