ABOUT TEAGAN
- At shelter - Teagan is a little feisty, preferring her independence and alone time in her cubby. She appreciates being approached slowly so she can first familiarize herself with someone new before allowing them closer. - Having come from a life as a stray, Teagan is considered a skittish cat who has had minimal experience with humans. - Teagan is currently enrolled in EHS’s socialization program, where dedicated volunteers are working to help her become more comfortable around people. - Some skittish cats like Teagan may remain reserved, while others may express their trust and affection in a variety of ways. - Teagan is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
TEAGAN’S IDEAL HOME
- A skittish cat will benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children. - At this point, we are uncertain if she gets along with other cats or dogs. - Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Teagan settle into her new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Teagan with a successful transition to her forever home.
