My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Tea on Teagan…

Is that there is nothing to spill. Beautiful Teagan arrived at EHS after being rescued from the frigid streets. There is not much yet known about this girl as her personality is still steeping, but she is ready for a place to warm up in and call home.

ABOUT TEAGAN

- At shelter
- Teagan is a little feisty, preferring her independence and alone time in her cubby. She appreciates being approached slowly so she can first familiarize herself with someone new before allowing them closer.
- Having come from a life as a stray, Teagan is considered a skittish cat who has had minimal experience with humans.
- Teagan is currently enrolled in EHS’s socialization program, where dedicated volunteers are working to help her become more comfortable around people.
- Some skittish cats like Teagan may remain reserved, while others may express their trust and affection in a variety of ways.
- Teagan is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.

TEAGAN’S IDEAL HOME

- A skittish cat will benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children.
- At this point, we are uncertain if she gets along with other cats or dogs.
- Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Teagan settle into her new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Teagan with a successful transition to her forever home.

The tea on Teagan is that she may appear robust but is actually sweet and just needs time to adjust. If you’re ready to add some flavour back into your life, apply to adopt Teagan today.
