Stollen(means bread in German) was born under a classroom. His mama survived the streets for a year and a half before choosing the one place she thought her babies would be safest. There are 11 puppies, and we are trying so hard to find them the right homes.
I’m the co-founder of Rover Ranger Rescue, and recently my life hit pause in a way I never saw coming. I was rushed to the hospital and found out I had a brain tumor. One was removed, and I will be okay, but radiation is coming next. Everything happened fast. Too fast.
These puppies are incredibly sweet, but they are scared. They need time, patience, and understanding. They weren’t handled as much as I would have liked before I became sick, and that’s no one’s fault. Life doesn’t always warn you before it flips the table.
Their mom had to be humanely trapped so we could keep her and her babies safe. She’s a work in progress, and for now she’ll be staying in a secure dog run at a friend’s place until I’m able to return home.
What these puppies need now are experienced, patient dog people. Homes that understand trust isn’t instant. Homes that know love can be quiet at first. If you are used to dogs, willing to go slow, and able to offer consistency and kindness, you are exactly who they need.

More about this rescue
We are veterans who came together because of dog rescue. We have similar views and respect for ideals. It is always about the dog with us. We want to make sure that the dog is a good fit for the home that is adopting them. Our dogs have not always had the best life and we believe they all deserve the best life can offer.
