Why I need a new home

Does not get along with other pet

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gonzo is a very sweet cat we adopted recently. We were told by the shelter he is very good with other cats but that is very far from the case. We have spent almost 2 months trying to socialize him with our other cat with no luck. He is a very good, healthy cat who eats, drinks water, and uses the litterbox great. We would rather find a good home for him instead of sending him back to the shelter as we have the room to keep the cats separated, but this cannot be a permanent solution for any of us.
He is loved dearly, but my resident cat needs to remain the priority, he is just not a good fit for us.
He is about 7 years old, and I have his vaccination and health screening record.
He just needs to be the only cat in the house. I am unsure how he is with dogs, but I personally would not risk it. He is very sweet and loving with humans, so I imagine he would be good with kids. Looking for a home where he will be indoor only.
Big cuddler, very playful and sweet.
