Bandit is a sweet boy who arrived to us with some of his cat friends from a previous home. He's a little more shy than his buddies, but it just makes you feel more special when he comes over to say hi! He would do well to be adopted with one of his friends or would also make someone an excellent solo companion kitty!

Adopting an animal is an exciting and important step for you and your family! Here is a brief outline of what to expect.
1. Come to our shelter and visit with the animals... come as many times as you like... you'll know when you've met "the one!"
2. Meet with an adoption counselor who will work with you to see if the animal you want can fit into your lifestyle, preferences, desires and expectations or if another would be a better match!
3. Complete the adoption paperwork and counseling session (this may take up to 45 minutes, so please be prepared to spend this time with an Adoption Counselor). You may also complete the adoption application online prior to coming to the shelter! Please note the application is an expression of interest and does guarantee animal placement.
4. Take your new best friend home!!

We serve an average of 950 animals per year, including those who enter the shelter and those who receive services in the community.
