My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Misty!

Joined us in: November 2025

About Misty:
• A very sweet girl who loves being pet and brushed.
• Enjoys playing with her toys — she especially loves when you throw them for her to chase, and she’ll sometimes even bring them back.
• Food is a highlight of her day (no surprise after her time as a stray), so mealtime is always exciting for her.

Her perfect match:
• Any loving home — Misty is adaptable and ready to settle in.
• An adopter who can help manage her meals thoughtfully to keep her healthy.
• A home open to gentle playtime and lots of affection.

Some extra facts about Misty:
• Was a wonderful mom to her five kittens and is now learning how to enjoy life just for herself.
• Starting to show her playful side — she’ll ask for playtime by standing over her toy and meowing at you.
• May do well with another cat with slow, proper introductions.
• Good with children; dog compatibility is currently unknown.

In short:
Misty is a loving, affectionate girl who is blossoming into her true self now that her mom duties are done. With gentle play, regular brushing, and mindful mealtimes, she’ll make a sweet and devoted companion in just about any home.
