My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bird, a dapper senior gentleman—part loyal companion, part couch connoisseur!

He’s fully crate and potty trained (yes, he asks politely—he’s basically a tiny gentleman in fur), a loose-leash walking superstar, and a car ride champ—just make sure he gets the front seat, or he’ll try to sneak his way forward. He’s totally unbothered by noisy dogs, loves his softened dry food like it’s a five-star meal, and will happily join you for a stroll…then give you the “wait, we’re done?” look when it’s time to go home.

Stairs? He’s a little dramatic about them. A few steps are doable, but a full flight is a no-go (bonus: carpeted steps might make him feel fancy). This sweet old soul just wants love, attention, and comfy spots to lounge after a good walk or snack. If you’re looking for a loyal, silly, easygoing buddy with a bit of charm and a lot of heart, he’s your guy! Email acsoutreach@bernco.gov to meet him today!
