Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mama Charmy is a sweet black beauty, around a year and a half old, with a gentle and sensitive soul. She can be quite shy at first and prefers a calm approach, but if you take things slow, she’ll reward you by allowing soft head or chin scratches—little moments that feel extra special once you earn her trust.
This lovely girl is still blossoming and would thrive in a patient, understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to grow into her personality. With consistency, kindness, and a quiet environment, Mama Charmy has the potential to truly shine and become a devoted companion.
If you’re someone who believes the best bonds are built gently and over time, Mama Charmy might just be your perfect match.

Adoptable animals are located at our Taft Campus at 2200 N Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or for more info call 970-484-8516.
The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!
The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.
Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.
We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.
