She’s incredibly food motivated and eager to learn, which has helped her master several commands like “sit”, “stay”, “leave it”, “place”, and “with me”.
Ziva can be unsure in new situations and would do best with a patient, understanding adopter who can help her learn that new things aren’t so scary. A quieter home where she can feel safe and secure will allow her personality to truly shine. And once you’ve earned her trust — you’re in. From there, Ziva becomes a deeply loyal, loving companion who bonds closely with her people.

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
