Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pringles is a female shepherd mix, born 10/9/25, and once she pops into your life, the love doesn’t stop! This beauty was found in a drainage ditch with her 4 siblings after being dumped. Her foster Mom has shown her attention, love and what life is supposed to be like in a home where she is cherished!
This sweet girl is a loving lap dog who somehow believes she’s the perfect size to curl up right on you. She’s great with other dogs, loves to play, and brings the best mix of cuddles and fun.
Whether she’s romping around with doggy friends or sneaking into your lap for some quality snuggle time, Pringles is pure happiness wrapped in fur. If you’re ready for a best friend who’s equal parts playful and affectionate, Pringles is ready to claim you as her person. Come meet her today at the shelter and take home your new best friend!

More about this shelter
Friends of DeKalb County-AL Animal Adoption Center is a 501c3, non profit, all volunteer, foster based rescue and not the shelter staff.
Our mission is to improve visibility and increase awareness of the countless number of abandoned, homeless animals located in the DeKalb County-AL Animal Shelter, with the ultimate goal being to unite these deserving animals with the perfect family to call their own.
Whether it be by finding adopters for homeless animals, reuniting lost pets with their owners or increasing community awareness about important issues, our volunteers are dedicated to being a voice for the animals in our area that are in need.
However, we can not do this alone. There are numerous ways that you can help in this effort, including volunteering, educating, donating, fostering a pet until it is adopted and sharing pictures of animals that are posted on our page.
The list of ways to help is endless and can be tailored to meet whatever your needs may be.
For those of you interested in making a monetary donation, please send your donation via Paypal to friendsofdcaac@gmail.com.
Any donations are greatly appreciated and can truly save lives.
