Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reba is a 5-month-old Maltese–Yorkie mix weighing approximately 7 lbs, and she’s every bit the sweet, loving puppy you’d hope for. Like all puppies, Reba will need a family committed to patience, consistency, and working on the basics as she continues to learn and grow.
Because of the cold weather, Reba hasn’t had many walks yet, but she is pee-pad trained and doing well with that routine. She will need continued guidance as she transitions to outdoor walks. Reba is comfortable using her crate at times; however, her true preference is sleeping on the bed with her people. For that reason, we’re looking for a family who is happy to share their bed with a snuggly pup.
Reba has not yet been spayed but will be soon. She is up to date on her vaccinations and is an absolute love bug. She’s currently doing very well with the other dogs in her foster home and genuinely enjoys the company of all the people she meets.
One thing to note is that Reba is not a fan of the car at this time and does experience some car sickness. We believe this is due to limited exposure, and with time and positive experiences, this is something she can hopefully overcome.
Reba was surrendered through no fault of her own—her previous owners took excellent care of her. We feel she would do best in a home with a backyard, ideally fenced, where she can safely explore and play as she grows.
Reba is currently being fostered in Whitby. If you think this sweet girl sounds like the perfect match for your family, please apply.

As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Check back often for details! An application for me can be found at www.justpaws.ca.
Just Paws is located in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. We do not adopt out of province or country.
Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.

Our mission is to rescue and rehome unwanted, abandoned, abused and unloved pets that find themselves alone and frightened in shelters. These animals give unconditional love and should receive the same love back. Unfortunately there is a need and while ever there is a need we will be there to help. Our long term goal is to build towards the opening of our own shelter and be able to help with behavioral issues, special needs, and to offer a haven to less adoptable pets. We are always very thankful for any pet related donations to assist the animals in our care
