Meet Drake, he is an amazing 3 year old Jack Russell terrier/chihuahua mix. He was adopted as a pup and simply adored, heartbreaking his dad passed away suddenly and he found himself in need of a new home. He has been doing great in foster care and can’t wait to have a family to call his own again. Drake gets along great with other dogs, is good with children and LOVES to go for car rides. Drake is à lap dog, his favorite thing is to fall asleep on your lap, or your shoulder, he follows you wherever you go and wants to have a best friend again. He’s a funny lil guy who loves to walk around on his back legs, perch on the back of the couch and jump in the air with joy. Drake would do best in a calmer home where he gets lots of love and attention, which he will give back ten fold.
Drake is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
