My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tony is a shy, sensitive boy who came to the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. He’s looking for a quiet, calm home where he can feel safe and take his time settling in.

At first, Tony may be reserved, but once he feels comfortable in his surroundings, his true sweet personality begins to shine. He forms gentle, meaningful bonds and truly blossoms with patience and kindness.

Tony does require a special diet, and our staff would be happy to talk with you about his nutritional needs to ensure a smooth transition into your home.

If you’re looking for a soft-hearted companion and are willing to give him the time he needs to feel secure, Tony could be a wonderful addition to your family. Please email or call us to learn more about him today!

Stop by the shelter during regular business hours to visit available pets. AVHS is open 6 days a week 11am-6pm, closed Sundays, adoptions wrap up at 5:30pm each day.
