My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Colonel Mustard is a fluffy, laid-back, social gentleman with a calm presence and a hilarious personality. Despite his impressive size, he’s all softness and sweetness.

A perfect day for Col. Mustard is simple and cozy: long naps, leisurely grooming sessions, and plenty of couch time soaking up pets and cuddles. He’s not big on toys because human affection is his favorite thing. And though he weighs in at a meaty 17 pounds, he has the cutest, high-pitched meow that surprises everyone. His foster says, “He’s very chill and spends most of the day napping and grooming. He loves pets and cuddling on the couch.”

Found living alongside a colony in Brownsville, Colonel Mustard stood out immediately for his friendliness. While life outdoors left its mark, including some battered ears, he was clearly meant for indoor life and human companionship.

Colonel Mustard is neutered, vaccinated, flea- and parasite-free, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He is social with people but would prefer to be your one and only cat, where he can enjoy all your attention. His ears tell the story of his past, but he’s now fully ready for a calm, comfortable indoor life.

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.
