This helps Last Hope K9 Rescue with pet care costs.
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VT
Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Unknown, likely yes
Good with kids: Yes, dog savvy children
Crate trained: Mostly
House Trained: Mostly
Chocolate is a cute little guy and very sweet and loving. He has a low energy level and his ideal home would be one where he can spend most of his time sitting in his human’s lap, making him a great companion.
Chocolate will happily coexist with other dogs but has no interest in playing with them. He has met an outdoor cat and ignored it, so would most likely be fine living in a home with a feline resident. He has spent time with young kids and would probably prefer to be in an environment with dog savvy kids who will allow him to set his own pace for interacting. His preferred activity is snuggling with his human.
Chocolate is doing well with his crate training, although he would much rather spend his time in the company of his family. He is mostly house trained but he does not alert yet when he needs to go outside. He will need to learn how to walk on a leash.
Chocolate can’t wait to find his new family. Could your lap be the one for him?
