Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Calling all of our border collie lovers!
Meet Billy Jack — a bright, bold Border Collie with a big personality and an even bigger heart.
Billy Jack is very outgoing and absolutely loves attention. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be involved in everything you do, he’s your guy. He’s extremely smart and curious, always observing, learning, and figuring things out (sometimes faster than you expect!). True to his breed, Billy Jack will bond quickly and deeply with his person and thrive in a home where he gets mental stimulation, structure, and plenty of interaction.
A few important notes: Billy Jack is not good with cats, so he’ll need a cat-free home. As a highly intelligent Border Collie, he’ll do best with an adopter who understands and loves the breed and is ready to provide training, enrichment, and exercise.
If you’re ready for a loyal, affectionate, brainy companion who will be your shadow and your teammate, Billy Jack is ready to meet you.
Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.
HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/
When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
You could be a life saver!
Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat. If you live in the Prescott Az area please go to our website unitedanimalfriends.org and learn more about fostering!
