Arnold is a tenacious and hard working Jack Rat. He has all the typical behaviors of a Jack Russell. He is intelligent, vocal, and opportunistic. He is very food motivated but not aggressive. He does reactively bark and has very strong protective instincts. He is very emotionally aware and affectionate. He would like to have a home with lots of physical and mental stimulation and lots of patience. He uses a doggy door to go potty and only has accidents if he is left alone for too long, because he does have some separation anxiety. He is not very destructive or hyperactive as far as Jack Rats go. He would make a great companion for an experienced owner who can help him gain confidence in alone time and train him with his reactive barking.
