Meet Lucky, a 6-year-old, 75-pound intact male Pit Bull who needs a rescue miracle. Lucky was surrendered by his owners that could longer care for him due to their increasing age and inability to take him out as much as he needs.
Lucky is a very sweet, social boy who enjoys being around people and gets along well with other dogs. Just look at that large SMILE; he could light up anyone’s day! He has lived as an indoor dog and has good manners—he waits to be taken outside to go to the bathroom, showing he understands a home routine. Although he does need some leash etiquette, he is otherwise a well behaved dog.
Lucky has tested as heartworm positive. We are so fortunate that a compassionate donor has stepped forward to pay for his entire treatment.
This friendly, happy go-lucky guy deserves a chance to heal and thrive in a safe environment. Lucky would make a wonderful companion for a home willing to help him get the care he needs and move on to a brighter future.
