Meet Avril, a darling mixed-breed puppy with soulful liquid-brown eyes and the prettiest blonde coat kissed with soft black highlights. This sweet girl is expected to grow into a perfect medium-sized companion — just right for adventures and couch cuddles alike!
Avril is all puppy charm and devotion. She absolutely adores being with her people and will happily trot behind you from room to room to “help” with whatever you’re doing. Whether it’s folding laundry, working at your desk, or relaxing on the couch, Avril is your loyal little shadow.
She’s a smart cookie, too! Highly food-motivated and eager to please, Avril thrives on positive-reinforcement training. She loves her toys, soaks up attention, and is making great progress with crate and potty training. With a little consistency and love, she’s going to grow into an amazing lifelong companion.
Avril would do best in a home with older children (8+) who can match her playful puppy energy. A fenced yard where she can zoom around and explore would make her so happy! She’s friendly with other dogs and would especially love a canine sibling to show her the ropes and be her best buddy as she grows.

The adoption fee of $450 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
