Hello it’s me Harlow 🩷 A Professional sunbather ☀️Part time fetch champion 🎾Full time good girl 😊 Let me tell you about myself before I steal your heart 💕 I’m 3 years old, spayed, fully vaccinated, and I came from a high kill shelter in Houston but I’m ready to leave that chapter behind 📖and start my soft dog life era 🤗 I love laying in the sun like I said, My favorite hobby is playing fetch with my squeaky ball yes, it must squeak or what’s the point? I love Walks, I can hang for a short run but I’m a Rottweiler not a border collie so walking is better 😥 Im not a huge fan of my paws being touching I think feet and paws are weird and honestly kind of gross if you think about it. Please don’t make it awkward for either of us 🥴 I do have a strong squirrel security patrol instinct 🐿️ If it runs, I notice 👀 If it sprints, I am emotionally invested 👁️Cats are still a mystery to me 🧐 I’m crate trained, know my commands, and I wait very politely for my meals like a lady 🥰 I don’t bark much, don’t counter surf ☺️ your snacks are safe 🍿🥨 and I’m trusted with free roam during the day because I make excellent life choices ☺️ I walk nicely on leash and live with a big male Rottie who makes my 88lbs self seem small ⚖️ I’m obsessed with car rides 🚗 I love adventure 🗺️ I am great with other dogs and do best with older, respectful kids who understand personal space and a good premium belly rub technique 😁 If you’re looking for a low drama, adventure loving, sun worshipping, squeaky ball obsessed best friend, apply for me 💕

Approve Application
The adoption application is assigned to screening team and carefully screened. If application meets acceptable criteria it is then approved.

Meet the Pet
Meet and greets are scheduled after an adoption application is approved. All family members and dogs in home must attend the meet and greet.
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
If meet and greet goes well the pet can then be taken home for an adoption trial.

Take the Pet Home
If meet and greet goes well the pet can then be taken home for an adoption trial.

Please allow between 7-10 days once your adoption application has been submitted to be screened. You will then receive a decision via email with further steps and who to contact if approved for adoption.

R.E.A.L Rottweiler Rescue was founded in 2003 by a couple with a passion and love for the Rottweiler breed. We are an all volunteer based 501c3 non-profit rescue organization. Our primary focus has been on Rottweilers, but we also rescue medium and large sized dogs of all breeds. We take in homeless rottweilers and work with them in our homes to assess personality, temperament, training and needs. Then place them up for adoption. Our goal is to find not just any home for each dog, but the perfect match for both the dog and its new family. To date, R.E.A.L. has had over 2000 successful adoptions!
