Move your feet lose your seat 👣🛋️ I get little bursts of energy, but honestly, I’d rather nap until you sit down because once you do, it’s pet o’clock ⏰. I’ll sleep upside down like a dramatic little bat 🦇 I get along well with other pups 🐾 but would be fine if you preferred me being the center of your universe 🌎✨ I’m polite and patient I’ll sit and wait for my food until you tell me it’s okay 🍴I’m not a big fan of crates let’s just say I’m an escape artist 🕵️♀️ like think Houdini 🤔 you’re gonna wonder how I got out of the crate, A magician never reveals their secrets 🤫 don’t worry I won’t escape the house I’m a Velcro dog and will follow you everywhere you go 👤 Fun facts about me! I’m super quiet, I rode all the way from Maryland to Pennsylvania in the passenger seat 💺 and didn’t make a peep 🐥 Everyone at the vets office loves me but I did not love the scale. What woman does? ⚖️ I adore people, did great with young kids, and while I’m not a fan of cats 🐈⬛ bad past experience, no drama. I’m an absolute sweetheart 💕 The rescue coordinator even said she’d adopt me if she didn’t already have three dogs, that’s how charming I am 😌 I was rescued from Texas and came north last minute on transport, and now I’m all settled and ready for my forever home 🏡 Pictures don’t even come close to how amazing I am in real life, you truly have to meet me to understand. If you’re home more often than not, love cuddles, and don’t mind sharing your couch,

Submit an adoption application on our website. This is found under the "contact" tab.

Approve Application
The adoption application is assigned to screening team and carefully screened. If application meets acceptable criteria it is then approved.

Meet the Pet
Meet and greets are scheduled after an adoption application is approved. All family members and dogs in home must attend the meet and greet.
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
If meet and greet goes well the pet can then be taken home for an adoption trial.

Take the Pet Home
If meet and greet goes well the pet can then be taken home for an adoption trial.

Please allow between 7-10 days once your adoption application has been submitted to be screened. You will then receive a decision via email with further steps and who to contact if approved for adoption.

R.E.A.L Rottweiler Rescue was founded in 2003 by a couple with a passion and love for the Rottweiler breed. We are an all volunteer based 501c3 non-profit rescue organization. Our primary focus has been on Rottweilers, but we also rescue medium and large sized dogs of all breeds. We take in homeless rottweilers and work with them in our homes to assess personality, temperament, training and needs. Then place them up for adoption. Our goal is to find not just any home for each dog, but the perfect match for both the dog and its new family. To date, R.E.A.L. has had over 2000 successful adoptions!
