Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi My Name Is Herby!
A little bit about myself I came to the shelter one afternoon, I was hunched over and I was defiantly in some pain, the wonderful techs at PHS immediately knew something was wrong. They did a quick exam and noticed that my bladder was VERY full and hard like a rock. I couldn`t pee! They thought I had a urinary blockage and they were correct! I was soon brought to a vet clinic to get some even bigger help and have a urinary catheter placed. Once my catheter was placed I went home with one of the vet techs here at PHS for the weekend to get my medications every 8 hours and to have my catheter monitored and cared for to make sure I could pee normally. (I felt better) Once we returned to the shelter the following week I got to have my catheter removed. I was put on a prescription diet for Urinary Care Wet Cat Food, to help my urinary tract have a better chance at working normally. I should stay on this food for the rest of my life! I may be prone to having a blockage again ( which is am emergency) So please clean my litter box everyday. I promise I am a sweet, young, rambunctious spitfire and I can`t wait to bring so much happiness and fun into your home. Interested ? Contact the Shelter.
