Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Operation Ranch Hand
Operation Ranch Hand arrived in our care thanks to a Vietnam veteran who wanted her to have a safe, steady future. Just like many who return from difficult chapters in life, she needs a little time to adjust to new surroundings and trust that she’s truly safe. Change can feel big for her, and she takes things at her own pace — and that’s okay.
Once she settles in, her true nature shines. She keeps her room spotless, observes the world with quiet curiosity, and slowly lets her guard down. When she decides you’re part of her circle, she leans into affection with a softness that feels earned and deeply meaningful. Her love isn’t loud or instant — it’s thoughtful, steady, and sincere.
Operation Ranch Hand is looking for a home that understands that healing and adjustment take time, but that the heart on the other side is absolutely worth it. With patience and kindness, she’ll show you just how loyal and loving she can be.
Operation Ranch Hand's adoption fee is $45, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1
Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! We welcome adopters from out of state to apply!
