If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Peanut is a sweet, affectionate dog just under a year old, according to his veterinarian. He is fully up to date on all vaccinations and has completed a two-week board-and-train program, where he learned several commands. Based on the vets assessment, he mostly likely was tied up somewhere and left for a long period and was most likely abused. Even with that background, nothing can get him down! He is a very happy dog.
He is incredibly loving and energetic, and does wonderfully with other dogs, cats, children, and the whole family. Because of his energy level, Peanut would thrive in a home with a yard or with someone who can provide at least a couple of walks each day.
When he isnot playing, Peanut is very snuggly and loves to be close to his people. He is crate trained, though he does have some sensitivities to wire crates. Peanut will come with all of his belongings, including his leash, collar, e-collar, bowls, bed, and more.
