My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🥦 MEET BROCCOLI – THE SWEET, STRIKING GENTLE GIANT!

Meet Broccoli, a cat with a larger-than-life personality to match his wonderfully large head! With his striking, bobcat-like coloring and lemur-striped tail, he's as unique as he is handsome. But what really makes him special is his heart — Broccoli is one of the sweetest, most affectionate cats you’ll ever meet.

❤️ Lap cat extraordinaire – if you let him, he’ll spend all day curled up in your lap
🐾 Gentle & respectful – loves pets more than food, and is patient when you’re busy
😌 Handles care well – doesn’t mind being carried and is cooperative during nail trims
🏡 Possible former pet – his friendly nature suggests he was once someone’s beloved lap cat

🧬 Broccoli is FIV+ — here’s what that means:
• FIV is not transmissible to humans or other species
• FIV+ cats can live long, healthy, happy lives
• It’s spread only through deep bite wounds, not casual contact
• Many FIV+ cats live peacefully with other cats
• With good care, they thrive just like any other cat!

Broccoli was rescued from the streets of Bridgeport, but his gentle spirit suggests he once knew the comfort of a home. Now he’s ready to find his forever family — one that will see beyond the FIV+ label and into his huge, loving heart.

🏡 Ideal Home: A loving, indoor-only home (with or without other gentle cats) that appreciates a loyal, snuggly companion who’s as sweet as he is striking.

Ready to give this gentle giant the safe, loving lap he deserves?
