My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Wall-E was brought in by their previous owner on January 31, 2026.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Wall-E is a sweet, independent cat looking for a loving home where he can settle in at his own pace. While he has shown a social side with staff, his previous owner noted that he can be a bit fearful and may take some time to warm up to strangers and new environments. He has experience living both indoors and outdoors, and while he may be okay with other cats, he often prefers to have his own space. Wall-E will thrive with a patient owner who can provide a soft, supportive environment as he builds his confidence. With a little time and understanding, this charming kitty is ready to become a steady and affectionate companion.

At SDHS:
Wall-E has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Wall_E is now ready for his new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
