My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

At just 4 months old, Grumpy is a stout-hearted adventurer ready to dig into life’s cozy corners. Litter box trained and fearless, he navigates the realms of dogs, cats, and kids with the bravery of a true dwarven explorer. Quick to pounce, chase, and play, Grumpy loves tumbling over his own paws, discovering hidden treasures, and curling up in a warm nook after a long day of adventuring. With a heart as big as his curiosity, this little grumpy fellow is seeking a loving home where he can nap, play, and maybe even lead a few mining expeditions of his own.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
