Baylor is a three year old medium breed who found herself in our care after a kind community member found her wandering around Gulfport in late December 2025. When she first came in she was very scared and nervous, clinging to any person who would allow her into their lap. She has since become a friendly girl who really just wants to snuggle. She weighs 39 pounds, is gentle, calm, and incredibly sweet, finding comfort in simple moments spent close to the people she trusts. She is dog friendly but would love another laid-back couch potato to hang out with. Baylor is heartworm positive, but with treatment and a little patience, she has a long, happy life ahead of her. Baylor is waiting for you to take her to her forever home. She is up to date on all vaccines and will be spayed upon adoption.
Baylor's $250 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports!
